By Cornell University Press
We are delighted to share the below paragraph provided by Cornell University Press on their recent published book Survival and Witness at Europe's Border.
Hello,
Hope this finds you well. I wanted to let you know about one of our books that may be of interest. Cornell University Press recently published Survival and Witness at Europe's Border by Karina Horsti.
Horsti’s latest book focuses on the 2013 Lampedusa migrant shipwreck disaster, making a novel analysis of the consequences of Europe’s border deaths for survivors, relatives of the victims, & European societies. Karina Horsti shows with empathy & passion how this disaster produced a kaleidoscope of afterlives that continue to assume different forms depending on the position of the witness or survivors.
Would there be any interview, review or coverage interest in Survival and Witness at Europe's Border?
Author Karina Horsti is available for interviews per scheduling, & is a Government of Finland/David & Nancy Speer Visiting Professor in Finnish Studies at the University of Minnesota.
More than happy to send over a copy for review. Open to any coverage opportunities available. Hope to hear from you soon, thanks for your time.
