1 min read

Seeking papers for a CES panel on the modalities of necropolitical power in (European) societies, accounting for the role state violence and counter care plays in reproducing and resisting the boundaries and hierarchies of belonging. We are interested in research related to necropolitics as violence and/or care including but not limited to anti-blackness/blackness, migration and anti-migrant violence, death and and burials. We are also interested in how necropolitics follow migrants in space and time, from the physical border to quotidian life and institutional encounters; from first-generation migrants to their descendants.
